Quincity
QUINCITY is a lovely modern serif typeface that is only available in italics. It came about as a result of my obsession with a few brief italicized words on a type specimen broadside from 1785. I was able to research type history and typeface categorization much more thoroughly than I ever have previously when working on this type revival, so I’ve provided some type history with your download so you can experiment with the assortment of historical figures I’ve included (like the medial s). QUINCITY is a classy, timeless typeface that is ideal for 21st-century projects, yet being based on styles that are hundreds of years old.
