Pratt Institute Brand and Corporate Identity: Joyface Rebrand

My final project in the course: Intro to Branding and Corporate Identity, was to create an original brand campaign or rebrand of an existing brand. I chose to recreate the branding of a local bar called Joyface in my neighborhood in New York City. Joyface's previously established brand is your grandmother's basement from the 70's. Eclectic and timeless decor hang on the walls and there is a real waterbed towards the entrance of the bar. People gather at this watering hole to escape under a gleaming disco ball and dance to exclusively 70's music all night. Joyface's physical branding is extremely minimal including their website. I dived into recreating their website and socials along with creating merchandise and advertising they could utilize. Their brand is so unique in New York City and it was a fun challenge to expand their presence.
