Tarot : Death

I decided to stop taking on client work and to begin a project for myself, for once. I'll be designing an entire deck of tarot cards over the next few months set to release on Halloween (2016).

This is a huge departure from the type and style of work I'm used to doing which I think is a healthy move. Everybody's gotta sharpen their design knives every once and a while, yeah?

This particular illustration was inspired by a "trip" I took to Graveyard Fields in the Blueridge mountains. Life changing.
