Following the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, depression, social anxiety, and overall fear for individuals health and future increased. This affected teens more than any other group as suicide rates rose, family members unexpectedly passed, and many teenagers were left with a greater lack of direction and clarity for what their future held. Seeing it affect the teens in my community motivated me to create an outreach event that would inspire hope in the hearts of these young individuals.

Freedom Fest was the result - a Christian-based outreach event that invited teens to an outdoor summer concert, filled with prizes, live music, free food and games, and ending on a note of not giving in to hopelessness or loss. Partnering with Ridgewood Church & their key designer, we were able to develop marketing that was vibrant, engaging, and inspired that hope in the hearts to reflect the vision we had for the event itself.
