In this clip we're flexing our custom world editing tools, shaders/materials, dynamic lighting, time of day and weather systems - all within Unity 3D.
What's this all for?
For the past few years, Matt and I have been in full-swing developing our first video game, which we plan to share more details about soon. The game is an open-world action-adventure set in a beautiful, yet troubled ancient realm full of mystery and danger.
Visually speaking, our primary goal was to adapt our 2D vector illustration style into a 3D environment, while adopting the forced perspective of top-down NES and SNES-era classics.
We're looking forward to sharing more soon!
