Sharebus homepage concept

sharebus_homepage

This was done as a personal exercise for creating a homepage for a fictional private public transport company, operating electric buses in a sharetaxi format. The context in which this was created is that the buses of the company drive fixed (short, closed loop) routes at high frequency in order to elliminate the need for timetables, arrival and departure times. Getting out of the vehicle is also possible at any point along the route (though boarding is more restricted for practical reasons) Fees for using the service are for that reason not calculated by ticket prices but rather by distance travelled along the line, triggering a "meter" from the moment entered until the moment exited. Payment is taken in any digital form and is payable up to a month after usage of the service. In this example I wanted to capture the feeling of an innovative, tech company with a mission towards convenience in an eco-friendly way (harmonsing smart, affordable, tech solutions with the environment). This is why green was chosen as a primary color.

Menu

The image below is the view of the open page menu. As demonstrated it "fades out" the rest of the site, signaling to the user that it is not accessible with the menu open and, as such, directing the attention to the menu itself.
