Strikeout King

This is a 3-colour lino block print. Available for purchase at Typ0Press

In 1923, the New York Yankees had quite the year. They moved into the famed Yankees Stadium and finished the season with their first World Series title. Their star player, Babe Ruth, also had quite the season. He broke the record for most home runs in a season with 41 and broke the record for highest batting average. He also struck out a whopping 93 times, easily more than any other player.

That’s almost 300 big swings and big whiffs. 3-Colour linoleum block print designed and hand printed in the Typ0 studio. Each colour was hand carved from linoleum blocks and printed on a Woodzilla hand press.
