Hand Made Memories is a unique company that offers a special service to pet owners who have lost their beloved pet. They understand the deep bond that exists between humans and their pets. They strive to provide owners with a way to remember and honor their deceased pet(s) in a meaningful and lasting way.
Trying to convey the sense of personality, compassion and an infinite bond was quite the challenge for Handmade Memories. We've been set out to achieve a visual style that had to be approachable and friendly.
The logo was constructed out of the idea of infinity combined with the North Star as part of the center. The loop on the outside is an infinitely looping cycle representing the cycle of life. The shape in the middle combined with the structures on the outside represents the North Star as a guide for the journey ahead with all the cardinal directions shown equally.
With Quincy CF as the main typographic carrier of the visual identity it conveys a friendliness yet professional look and feel to the elements. Combine that with natural colors inspired by the gemstones or materials which are used in the creation of the jewelry and then you'll get to the essence we where set out to achieve.
After implementation of the visual identity and logo 80% of people told us that it also increased their trust compared to the visuals and logo of competitors. This is probably a combined vector of the above mentioned key principles which formed the foundation of the brand.
