Sun Eater

The Sun and Moon Eaters are meant to be a reflection of the overconsumption of goods and resources we see in society today. The story is that of two brothers who lived in a paradise. Everything they could ever need to survive existed in this paradise. Within them grew an insatiable hunger and they began eating everything edible they possibly could. Eventually the paradise ran out of food for them, so they moved on to eating anything. Eventually the paradise disappeared as the brother had eaten everything except for the sun and moon. In their desperation and hunger, the brothers also ate the sun and the moon and left themselves in cold, desolate, darkness.
