A Hopeful Laugh: Raising Funds and Awareness for Childhood Cancer

Brief: Although our mandate was to publish country-specific health-related information to educate our target audience, we faced restrictions on accessing and sharing childhood cancer statistics from the country. To address this challenge, we developed a solution that combined global information with contextual visual content to raise awareness about the disease and capture our audience’s attention. The solution we came up with was the “Chemo Boy Laugh Bloom,” which proved to be a success.

Despite having less than 500 followers on a newly created account, the campaign was well received and praised by many audiences verbally afterwards. The use of visual content proved to be an effective way to educate and engage our audience, despite the limitations we faced.
