Exhibition and Art Galleries
While working on a visual concept, we wanted every visitor of the website to dive into Art. The design had to be matching the type of museum to make it most resonating. The Swiss style was followed to emphasize the collections and their creators.
Monochromatic color palette and abundance of negative space were purposely used, to create space in a room, as well as to provide an uncluttered sense for the user navigating the site. Solid typographic hierarchy supports both readability and visual elegance.
Since art doesn't have a single shape, we used a Masonry layout, so the paintings with varying dimensions aren’t cropped, keeping the original look and feel.
