Brand & Website design for Web3 joint venture

Here's a shot of the hero section for a 2 page website, promoting a joint venture between two actors in the Web3 space. The brand world we created had to speak to the niche community of developers adept at building decentralized products.

It was a lot of fun for this project. Through the UX research of interviewing lead developers found in the target audience, we discovered the brand personality and their goal of recruiting more developers. In light of this, we sourced and collaged 8-bit pixel game elements and retro pixel art, but more importantly, we created a narrative around the Star Wars-era storyline: join us, a small team of passionate and ambitious rebels for decentralization, to take on the evil empire of centralization.

I was the designer on the Loominate team, the agency that facilitated the creation of the brand and website.
