Musicaly - Music Streaming App
Introduction
Musicaly is a music streaming app that allows users to discover new music and listen to their favorite songs on the go. My role in this project was to design the user interface and user experience of the app, ensuring that it was intuitive, easy to use, and visually appealing.
Problem Statement :
The rise of music streaming services has created a crowded marketplace with many competitors, making it difficult for new apps to stand out. Our challenge was to create an app that was visually distinctive and user-friendly, while also offering unique features that would differentiate it from other music streaming apps.
Research :
To understand the needs and preferences of our target audience, we conducted user surveys, interviews, and competitive analysis. We found that users were looking for a music app that had a clean and modern design, with personalized recommendations based on their music taste.
Design Process
We started the design process by creating sketches and wireframes to map out the user flow and overall layout of the app. We then moved on to creating high-fidelity mockups, using a blue color theme that gave the app a modern and sophisticated look. We incorporated white space and clean typography to make the interface easy to read and navigate.
Key Features :
One of the key features of Musicaly is the personalized playlists that are curated for each user based on their music taste and listening history. We also included social sharing options, allowing users to share their favorite songs and playlists with their friends on social media. Another unique feature is the "Mood Mode," which allows users to select music based on their mood and activity.
