Some time ago a client approached us. They expressed their wish to make a new dating app that would utilize familiar swipe mechanics, but they found themselves a bit stuck with what they needed to make it different from existing apps.

Long story short, a few rounds of brainstorming resulted in this elegant idea for an app trait: a small questionnaire that a user fills up with whatever sort of questions they wish.

This is how it works: the user matches someone else, answers a few simple Yes/No questions and, if everything works out, gets to chat with the person. This design allows users to not waste extra time talking with someone they don't truly match interests with.

This small feature resonated well with the business owner, especially considering the fact that it made the Super Like function much more viable since it allows users to skip the questions and start chatting immediately.
