Trudie Studios Production & Recording • Logo and Style Guide

Trudie Studios is a production and recording studio in Rockaway Beach, New York. It is located in a converted beach house that has all of it's original interior from the 1950's and 60's (the shag carpeting makes for great acoustics I'm told). The floral patterns are inspired by the wallpaper that winds it's way up the staircase.

The colors are all inspired by the mid-century appliances that wrap their way around the kitchen 65 year old kitchen. And the vinyl record harkens back to a time when recording music was done with analog technology and know how.

The display font has a vintage look and a rough finish that creates a sense of nostalgia and the body font is an American classic because of it's legibility and timeless look (which explains why it has spent over a century on the keys of typewriters).
