In honor of Modernism Week wrapping up this weekend, I thought I’d make some MOD-icons featuring a few famous modernist houses in Palm Springs.

1) Palm Springs Visitor Center - AKA Tramway Gas Station - designed and built by Albert Frey and Robson Chambers - completed in 1965

2) Frey House II - designed and built by Albert Frey as one of his personal residences - completed in 1964

3) The Edris House - designed and built by E. Stewart Williams for William and Majorie Edris - completed in 1954

4) Grace Miller House - designed and built by Richard Josef Neutra for Grace Darling Lewis Miller - completed in 1937
