Minimalistic Beach Map Designs

Last year, my wife and I needed some fresh art work. We couldn't find anything that fit our minimalist style and felt meaningful so I started exploring beach map designs based on our honeymoon spot, Hilton Head Island!

I started with Open Street Map and then edited the map styles with Mapbox.

We loved it, but didn't realized that all our friends and family would want similar art for their favorite beaches as well. My wife and I ended up creating 34 east coast beach maps and selling them on our Etsy shop, Graceful Waves.

The project doesn't make a ton of money, but gives us a really nice bucket list of beaches to explore!
