"Fileteado Porteño" is an art form born in the Río de la Plata; it combines elements of nature such as flowers, acanthus leaves, etc. with both real (birds, horses) and fictional (dragons, among others) animals. 

Mastering it implies understanding composition rules, lights and shadows, portraits and letters. Its origin dates back to Italian immigrants and the expansion of tango. 

Thanks to the great collective effort of those who did not abandon this art , since December 2015 it has been considered an intangible cultural heritage of Humanity.
