The Website Design Concept for Cinematography

I'm back with part 2 of the new website concept inspired by the cinematography of Akira Kurosawa, a Japanese film director. His style and methods have done a significant impact on modern cinematography and, therefore, cannot be overestimated.

On the website, you can click on the filmography section and find the library to watch all of Kurosawa's films. Each one is accompanied by a short description of his style and approach in creating.

To fully immerse the audience, I paid attention to the details of the director's culture and incorporated them into the design. Decided to use a serif font, as it was used during the progressiveness of the country as well as in the movies and posters of Kurosawa at that time. And a sans-serif font, as it represents modern culture and cinema in Japan.

Really enjoyed putting all the pieces together to bring the idea to life. Don't forget to leave your thoughts in the comments and press 'L' if you like it.
