Xoshi / Flowery war

Sound on!

This screen is inspired by some RPG / TBS type video game where two or more players face their armies with the objective of capturing enemy soldiers in order to sacrifice them as offerings to Huitzilopochtli, just like in the Flowery Wars of the time.

Guerras Floridas / Xochiyáoyotl

"...reaching the highest part in Templo Mayor, they were taken by the priests, who placed them on the sacrificial stone to extract their hearts, which they offered to Huitzilopochtli. The bodies of the prisoners were thrown down the stairs, and their captors would pick them up and eat them as part of the ritual."

The base background image was generated by AI and I needed to intervene it in order to make it functional, adding plants at front, particles, etc.

I had to separate the image into several layers and add certain elements, then everything was animated and details were created like the particles and the logo.

The UI has also been implemented in Unity, where a full menu follows after this image (coming soon)

Software used: Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.
