CSC8507 Splatooth 2042 Prototype
This is a prototype for CSC8507 Team Project Prototype for MSc Computer Game Programming at Newcastle University 2021-22. In this game, the players with most score wins and the point can be gained from colour cubes. However, all the cubes are placed in a randomly generated maze formed by invisible walls. Players have to shoot the wall with special paint ball to reveal the walls and find the ways to the cubes. Besides, a player can also shoot and put other players in fainted state for 10 seconds.
I am responsable for the graphics such as texture manipulation, shader programming and camera effects. My part of works:
Real-time texture painting for multiple objects
Camera position control
Hide walls when they are between camera and player
Splash ball fading and sticking effect
Colouring shader for colour cubes and splash balls
Particle spawn to notify players when they collide to walls
