Hand Painted Vintage Botanical Stamps

In the past week, I’ve told 3 people that I can’t draw or paint. And I honestly believed that. On Sunday I decided I’d try to paint something to unwind my brain from the previous week. I was VERY surprised when these poppies actually turned out kind of looking like poppies. So moral is maybe don’t believe every negative thought you have about yourself this week. Perhaps I’ll look back at these in a year and be embarrassed that I posted them or maybe I’ll feel proud but in the words of Jeff Koons, “sharing your work is an act of generosity.” Life’s too short not to share your work in all its imperfections.
