Nature Heals

Ikigai is a japanese philosophy and concept of living life to the fullest, truest and with purpose. One of the ten rules of Ikigai is to reconnect with nature. Spending time in nature has a healing effect, since human beings are made to be part of the natural world. We should return to it often to recharge our batteries.

"Shinrin-yoku" translates to ā€˜forest bathingā€™ and means connecting with nature using the five senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch. It is a mindfulness practice to help you reconnect with nature so that you can rejuvenate the body and give the mind a moment of peace.ā€
