Songs For The Journey

Artwork for the spring chapel series at Hope College, on the Psalms of Ascents. These psalms, (Psalms 120-134) were songs that the Israelites would have sung as they sojourned to worship God in Jerusalem. We even like to think that Jesus knew them and sang them.

I wanted to pick out moments from each one to create a scrapbook of sorts, something that feels dynamic like a journey or a train of thought.
