Online user behaviour

This illustration was part of a bigger project for Mouseflow™ to explain the value of using a behaviour analytics tool to better understand your users.

User behaviour is an abstract concept for most of us. What users to on our websites or applications is to many companies a mystery. But it is essential to start understanding this behaviour if we want to bring our digital experiences to the next level.

Why do users bounce? How far do they scroll, what do they click on, and which pain points might lead them to leave your page.

Are users clicking on elements which are not ment to be clicked? Are there hidden opportunities to guide the user through these elements to certain parts of your site?

Are users not as engaged as you hoped on your page, or moving between your site and other tabs? Are they comparing you to a competitor? Or just not finding your content relevant?
