Moneybox – Typography and colors

The choice of fonts and color palette is the integral part of the process. The design of the app should not be evocative, unless that is the purpose of the app itself.

For this exact app, the simple pallet was chosen to reduce the anxiety the people often feel when the topic is money. The green and blue colors have the relaxation effect and associate with sky, grass, and money.

Blue is a color associated with royalty, art, military, business and nature, making it a color with a lot of applications.

Green, by the way, has two unrelated meanings: nature and environment, and the other – money. Together, green represents renewal and growth, wealth, prestige, and greed.

Green and blue makes a great symbiosis, that makes people think about money in more positive way.
