UI/UX Designer @ Brotherhood

Design Software Used: Figma

About the project:

I had the opportunity to work on a meaningful UI/UX project for a client who was building an app designed to help young men bond and grow both personally and professionally. With the pandemic forcing people to spend more time alone and away from their friends, the client recognised the need for a platform where likeminded individuals could come together and support each other in their personal and professional growth.

As a UI/UX designer, my role was to help create a minimalist, yet masculine design that reflected the app's vision and values. I collaborated with the client to conduct user research, which helped inform the development of the app's features and overall product timeline. This research helped us understand the needs and preferences of the target audience, allowing us to design a UI that resonated with them.

Throughout the project, I was focused on creating a design that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also intuitive and user-friendly. We wanted to ensure that the app provided a seamless user experience that encouraged users to engage with the community and connect with others who share similar interests and goals.

To achieve this, I used a range of design principles, including a minimalist approach with bold, contrasting colors to create a visually appealing interface that would resonate with the target audience. I also prioritised simplicity, ensuring that the app's features were easy to navigate and understand, even for first-time users.

Overall, working on this project was a rewarding experience, as I was able to contribute to the creation of a platform that aims to promote personal and professional growth in young men. The UI/UX design was an essential part of the project, as it helped bring the app's vision to life and create a seamless user experience that fosters connection and support within the community.
