Blue Monday is widely known as the most depressing day of the year. 

The weather’s crap. It’s a Monday (goodbye to the weekend). Your December pay cheque is stretching to its 1millionth day... 

In 2022, I decided Blue Monday was going to be something to celebrate, and the ‘Raise a Smile’ Campaign was created.

Aimed to create feel good vibes to beat those January blues & bring out the good times... By doing things that make them happy. By being someone else’s reason to smile. By seeing the joy in the everyday. By giving them something to look forward to.

The plan...

I created a self care calendar for our team & customers give them that extra nudge to look after themselves.

We encouraged our teams to do random acts of kindness on our park to brighten the days of owners & holidaymakers as well as other team members around them.

We created social content to celebrate blue skies & seas in the stunning locations around the park.

We encouraged people to find joy in the smaller things in life.

This campaign wasn't created to create an instant increase in sales but to nurture leads in the month where money is the tightest and life's a bit grim.

We increased connections, made teams feel valued & looked after the customers we already had.
