I was invited to make changes to an already working project, which is in the App Store. The project consists of several parts, changes in the search were taken as an example.

Search Screen

I did A/B testing for the project. The essence of my work was designing screens with different versions of one piece of content with changes in one variable.

The search screen was chosen for testing. In the first version of the design, the search was made in the form of a list with checkboxes (this option turned out to be less demanding), as a result, the user spends most of the time searching for a location manually on the map. The second search option was to offer the user to look at the most popular real estate, as well as enter the address or area that is of interest to him. At the stage of entering text, the user was offered hints of locations, the possibility of autocompleting them from the list. This option showed a higher conversion rate, users began to spend less time searching for their dream home.

Also, in addition to the Search screen, the function of adding points on the map within the radius of which you are looking for real estate has been added. The feature proved to be user-friendly and could capture multiple areas for search at once. Two types of boxes were also made for a brief description of the property.
