Olivia wanted her branding to reflect the not-so-serious kooky personality of her fashion designs while maintaining an elevated feel. I approached this branding project with 4 key words defined by the client - individualistic - youthful - playful - quirky.

Olivia Rubens' colour palette is defined by its delicate balance of toned-down neutrals, pastels, and bold expressive colours. The Olivia Rubens girl is unpredictable and ever-changing. She can be many different things on any given day. Our colour selection aims to tell her story.

Venus SB was selected was selected for its rounded, aysemmetric quality and sans-serif stature. The client wished to navigate away from traditional grammer and opted to have almost all type material set either in full caps or lower case, except body copy which we agreed to set in normal case for readability.
