Free & Locked Up Book Cover

Dove headfirst into Scandinavian design and patterns for this cover. Throughout Scandi folk art there are illustrations of animals divided into different organic patterns. I decided to use this idea in how I divided up the Scandi-Eagle. Within those fields I illustrated the sunny sky, the hill overlooking Bergen, the line of pastel colored buildings common to that town, and the ocean.
