Winter Wonderland Nostalgia

This is part of an ongoing personal project series of posters I've been working on. This piece features a Winter Wonderland scene with an overtly nostalgic vibe. It feels warm and cozy and features the best parts about winter: curling up inside with a book or guitar, or going outside on an adventure by cross country skiing or snowboarding. I can see this being used on packaging, wrapping paper, and advertisements.

Here are my original sketches. I drew out the icons first and then played around with an overall layout and grid system before jumping into coloring the piece.
