Concept Butterfly Mechanism

One of the many intricate parts of a concept Macbook Pro I'm currently designing.

One of the modifications that cannot be seen in this piece is the adaptation of the butterfly mechanism into a hybrid mechanical key, fitted with a three tier 'Deep-Touch' functionality to satisfy the needs of typists, gamers and video editors, giving them multiple levels of depth recognition.

This new mechanic adds a sense profoundness without compromising the MacBooks newly designed, thin unibody.
