Pages & Riggle
Pages & Riggle was a design and development business concept I was exploring with my husband, Zak. He’s a web developer and I’m a designer, so the perfect pairing for such a business! It never quite came together because he works full time and I’m an entrepreneur/freelancer, so adding an additional side business for either of us was a bit ambitious. However, it was a pretty fun brand to play around with at the time and also a fun challenge in my design career as it was the first time I included my own doodles and illustrations in one of my brand identities - so I’m including it here!
The idea was to lean into the vibe a name like Pages & Riggle would illicit - a ‘hand drawn’ heading font like Fredericka the Great, and ‘pencil/charcoal drawn’ illustrations like the one shown here, that I created with Procreate.
Like I said above, it was newer challenge in my design career and a way to show what Zak and I could do - being able to take the reins designing a fully custom site - so I played around with colors, a landing page loading screen, some offbeat typography layout, etc.
