It's ok you can keep it

This is a piece from a series I have been working on called "The girl who fell in love with Death". It's a reflection piece based on being drawn to a person who is bad for her and can ultimately consume her in the end. She knows he is probably wrong for her, but she can't help but love him and want him to love her back even though he never can. All of this is happening before her own eyes and then one day she wakes up and she has lost herself entirely. She wanted to be in love so badly that she was willing to give up everything that made her Her. She then turned into Death and wandered the earth taking souls along with her.
