Urban Walks App
A map of New York I created for our Urban Walks App. I literally spent nearly a week drawing a map of Manhattan by hand. It's extremely accurate as we overlay this map over Open Street Maps to show an exact location while on tour. After drawing it once I figured out an amazing template system in Photoshop that allows me now to create more maps of other neighborhoods much quicker.
With a small team of friends we finally launched Urban Walks. Urban Walks is an app that allows you to experience walking tours in New York and learn new stuff regardless whether you are a New Yorker or a tourist. We spent an insane amount of time hand crafting and designing the experience! All maps are hand drawn, custom illustrations, we took all the photos, super interesting and custom content from the pros (no Wikipedia content, thank you very much!).
Today we launched "Urban Walks" app to the app store.
