Grocery Clerk Checkout App

The past year I've been doing a lot of dashboard and products that weren't always consumer facing. While I was always comfortable creating beautiful experiences for consumers, I noticed that the time and resources weren't always there for apps that were vendor or employee facing. As a lead product designer I wanted to make sure we didn't cut corners. For this particular product, we need a companion app to a consumer grocery shopping app that allowed shoppers to shop in physical brick and mortar locations and checkout using their phone. Checkout clerks would need to verify the basket and payment at the exit of the store. This Grocery Clerk Checkout app gave grocery clerks a quick overview of shoppers in store and gave them tools to trouble shoot countless use cases and help customers check out. Developing a Design System allowed us to move quick as the design was shared between the consumer and employee facing products.
