Designing Viva's iconography

It’s not every day a global company with Microsoft’s legacy has the chance to design something from scratch. So, when our creative team had the opportunity with one of our newest apps, Microsoft Viva, we dove right in. Our biggest challenge—how to visually represent a fundamentally different productivity tool. To ensure the new icon fit holistically within our broader icon ecosystem, we embraced concepts like our grid + Fluent’s iconic softened edges and rounded corners.
