Band logo: Cahya

Here is a logo project I recently wrapped up for my friend Ezzy. This one’s been in the works for a while, but I love where things landed.

One thing I always strive for in logos is some sort of formal consonance between iconography and typography. It was nice to find this stencil-based typeface that mirrored the organic, stencil-based logic of the shiba. I drove this point home by customizing the letterforms very slightly — softening the corners. Anyhow. Stuff like that really gets me stoked.
