Design Process:
1. Research and Analysis:
Conducted extensive research to understand the global street art scene, including popular artists and iconic works.
Analyzed existing art-focused apps and explored user needs and preferences.
Generated user personas to capture the diverse range of potential users, from casual art admirers to avid street art enthusiasts.
2. Wireframing and Sketching:
Created preliminary sketches and wireframes to envision the app's layout and functionality.
Iterated on design concepts to ensure user-friendly navigation and interaction.
3. Moodboard and Style Guide:
Developed a moodboard to establish the visual direction of the app, reflecting the dynamic and urban nature of street art.
Defined a style guide with a vibrant color palette, bold typography, and street-inspired iconography to reflect the spirit of street art culture.
4. High-Fidelity Prototyping:
Translated wireframes into high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.
Designed the app's key screens, including the interactive city map, artwork descriptions, artist profiles, and social engagement features.
Incorporated smooth animations and transitions to provide an immersive experience for users.
5. User Testing and Feedback:
Conducted usability testing with a diverse group of potential users to gather feedback on the app's functionality and design.
