Corporate Design – Hamburg Innovation Port

Hamburg Innovation Port (HIP) is a technology and innovation centre in the Hansestadt Hamburg, Germany. The redesign concept equally relates to the HIP's focus on digital science and innovation as the floating modularity of its tenants. Pixel-like blocks in the logotype remind the user to bitmap art from the beginning of the digital age, while also showing a modular, spatial concept of the HIP's facilities in form of building blocks. Related to a binary code the redesign concept uses a 2-colour system (black & white) to visually underline the HIP's focus on innovation in digital science.
