[NEED HELP] Looking for participants for study about AI in UI
We are looking for volunteers for a study on the factors affecting the experiences of UI designers when using machine learning methods. This project aims to evaluate the different factors impacting UI designers’ experiences using machine learning methods for work, especially perceived quickness and easiness. The participants can choose to take part in the study at Carleton University or online via Zoom.
The study aims to understand more about machine learning tools used in UI design. You will be asked to work on a design brief by sketching the design solution(s) on paper and run it through a machine learning tool, UIzard, for it to generate the UI layouts. You then will be asked to complete a post-study survey and answer an interview about your experiences and assessments of the tool. When you work on the design brief, with your consent, your screen will be recorded, and your facial expressions will be video recorded.
During the interview you will be audio recorded. To be eligible, you must be able to show that you have some fundamental understanding of UI design.
The study will take place either on Carleton University campus or online and should take approximately 90 minutes to complete.
