En Gedi Trading Center

Had the pleasure of designing the logo and branding for En Gedi Trading Center. 

The En Gedi mark symbolizes a Swallow in flight. The Swallow as a symbol is strongly associated with Maritime. According to a sailing superstition, swallows 

are a good omen to those at sea. Swallows, with their slender, streamlined bodies and long, pointed wings tend to be playful but disciplined. Much of what En Gedi does in the trading realm is counter intuitive - like living in the present - which is illustrated by the bird flying in the opposite direction.

The EG initials emerge through the use of negative space from the shape of the body.
