Inktober, Day 6, BOUQUET

On the eve of Covid, we lost our Grandad to the result of Alzheimer's. The body started shutting down and just couldn't hack keeping it functional.

Memories created 80+ years ago were lost within a year, and the thought of forgetting your wife and your home was gone with a finger's click. A family man that did not forget about those who listened and respected him. A man that had endless stories about his fruitful youth.

Now we remember these happy memories so we don't forget him, standing shoulder to shoulder so that the stories passed down to us now fall in the hands of our children.A bouquet of 'Forget-me-not' flowers so we won't forget you.
