Metalabs3—Branding & Website Design
Studio Size created a brand identity for Metalabs3, a blockchain and Web3 development company. ML3 identity revolves around the idea of a “digital renaissance”. The real Renaissance was a period from the 14th to 17th century that brought innovation by combining science and art. Web3 represents a “digital renaissance”, a rebirth of web technology impacting numerous areas, particularly art. To illustrate the concept of “digital renaissance”, we merged Greek and Roman culture from the old Renaissance world with the new digital age of the metaverse. The logo is built from ancient pillars, forming the roman number three and symbolizing the letter “M”. By applying pixel graphics, gradients, glitches, and blur effects, we created an exciting contrast with the archaic visual elements.
