NFT App UI Design

As a part of Dribbble’s Intro to UI course, we were given a prompt from a startup client who is looking to revolutionize the NFT marketplace with a new app. They are requesting that the app has a design-first approach and is deeply curated for user experience.

Visual Exploration

To begin my design process, I researched and put together two mood boards that had two pretty different feels, so that way I could explore which direction felt right for this app. One direction was focused on a dark UI with gradient accents, and the other was a lighter UI with bold fonts and shapes. Ultimately after exploring each direction, I decided to go with the lighter UI direction.

Polish & Scale

After choosing the design direction, I used my mood board and initial screen designs to flesh out what the rest of the screens could look like. I made many adjustments to the layouts and tried to find the balance between the design-first approach and smooth user experience that the client was looking for. During this process I also established a design system that helped to keep the look consistent from screen to screen.

Prototype

After I designed all of the screens, I created a prototype of the app to help showcase it’s sleek design and smooth user experience. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this project and hope to do more like it in the future!
