Branding For Bottle Shop
Here is a look at our contemporary brand identity design for a bottle shop named Three Of Cups, based in Sonoma County, California. Owner Jesse Hom-Dawson needed help establishing a brand strategy to launch her new business and we were only too happy to help. Wine not?!
Strategy
Jesse wanted to create a safe space for wine lovers of all levels to come together without judgement. During our brand strategy session we helped Three Of Cups establish brand personality, target audience and market position. We identified brand personality as Inclusive, Approachable, Knowledgeable, Contemporary and Stylish. We used these attributes to guide our brand identity design decisions.
Process
Inspired by the brand name and its strong community values we hand drew a brand mark featuring three hands raising a glass. This brand mark represents inclusivity, fun and community. We added a graphic element suite of illustrations that highlighted aspects of the brand identity. These include a champagne bottle popping, grapes growing by moonlight and a smiley cheese hanging out with a smiley glass of wine. We tied the contemporary and stylish brand identity together with a custom brand colour palette and font pairing to deliver a consistent brand message.
Design
Using our brand strategy roadmap as our north star we were able to design a contemporary and stylish brand identity that appeals to the desired target audience and fulfils brand goals. We created a responsive brand identity for use in store, on the website and social media. Finally, we brought this all together with a bullet proof brand style guide with clear instructions on how to implement the new brand identity.

"It was so much fun working with Ulysses Design Co. Their creativity and passion brought my business' branding from an idea to life and the final product is amazing and one of a kind. Not only that, but they were quick, patient, and responsive! Can't wait to work with them again in the future."
