A Dashboard is that part of a product that allows the user have an overview of their data and other information analytics. It’s an important component of most products since the user deserves to see their data and analyse other Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The dashboard asides being a visual display of data, it should be a point of customization for users therefore there is need for careful and critical thinking when coming up with designs that solve this problem.
