About the project:

I had the pleasure of working on a dynamic project with an exciting early-stage personal finance start-up based in the UK. As a freelance UI/UX designer, my main focus was to create compelling initial concepts for the app. This involved a range of responsibilities, including crafting visually appealing colour schemes, typography, and user flows.

Although the brief was concise, it provided some crucial guidelines that helped me bring the startup's vision to life. I was tasked with designing an app that felt modern, fresh, and fun, with a specific target audience of 18-30 year olds in mind. One of the key features was to help young individuals better understand their spending habits, which meant creating an engaging and interactive interface.

With these requirements in mind, I let my creativity run wild, resulting in designs that were visually stunning, intuitive, and playful. I opted for a dark colour scheme with vibrant accent colours that complemented the modern and youthful look the startup was aiming for. The typography was clear, concise, and professional, making the app easy to read and navigate. Finally, to add a touch of fun, I included playful animations that made the user experience more enjoyable.

Overall, I'm thrilled with the outcome of this project, and I'm confident that my designs will help the start-up achieve its goals and make an impact in the personal finance space.
