Blockchained
This is an idea that came to my head* and I imagine would be a cool concept for some kind of Blockchain related businnes or something. Let me know if you have seen something similar out there, feels pretty authentic when I first thought hahaha (and I hope so) I hope you like to follow this process!
My initial idea was to make it lowpoly, but along the process seems too much for a single shot, I couldn't see clearly the chain and the head would need too many triangles to look nice, so I dropped this style and tried to use the negative space for the chain (initially I thought of make it in a different color instead).
I've worked with this half-head module to make my life easy when developing the shape, also decided to add some brighter shades to make some depth; I hope you like to see this "timeline".
I liked a lot this stage and almost gone with a solid one color version to the final but looked to me too much like a skull, and I wanted more a robot aspect of it, even if a robot-ish skull pair.
I'm not the best with color here, but I tried to suggest some kind of transitional feel between the heads but also need to be distinguished where both heads merge, I hope this final version does the trick, let me know in the comments :)
